I’m so far from home City lights, and places I don’t know. Follow along. Find me at the start. Leave your pride. Let’s go back and see where we belong. Find me at the start. Leave your pride. Let’s go back and see the other side. It’s fear that drives the hate. White lies that we create, They’ll say: “You’re not like us, follow along” We breathe the same air, And have the same birth. Made of the same skin, On the same earth We are all the same on the inside. We’re not so different, You and I. Don’t make your mind up on what you can’t see. We all share the same humanity.

90 Minutes 03:31
I crossed the ocean to get to where you are. Guided by the headlights and the glowing of the stars. If my arms could reach across the midwest, I’d hold those waiting hands and give your body rest. If you go, I hope you come back home, But don’t call. Because trouble seems to follow, I know that it’s not all your fault, But just go. Just go. I swam the ocean in the front seat of my car, Drove 100 miles; should have never come that far. If my fingers could retrace the path of your wake, I’d find myself underneath the weight of all your pain.

Living with the lights on Doesn’t mean the dark is gone. The sun is just a way for shadows to be made. The sickness in my ears is how I’ve lived for years, Just gotta try harder to make myself better. You gotta fight through the madness, And sift through the sadness, To get to the greener side of the things. Cuz if you can’t stop the bleeding, The walls won’t stop screaming, And this is how it’s gotta be. Wake. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Am I nothing more than a machine? A slave to the routine. Wake. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. The chemicals kick in Keeping my blood thin. It’s a fight to feel alive with all this wasted time. I can’t stand this skin, This shadow I’m in. Is it my time? Is time just a gift? Oh God have you been sleeping? How could you not be seeing The tears in the eyes of my mother? As she wishes I was better than medicating our family history She’s so sorry for passing that on to me.

I’m feeling so sick down to my bones. The whole world shifted to a minor tone. And if you stay inside, one point of view will be what's right. Ignorance may not be bliss, But there’s a whole world out there that we’ll miss. When our hands are fists; we should call it quits. Feels like we’re moving backwards Caught in the undertow. Feels like we’re moving backwards Will we ever let it go? We don’t always have to be our insecurities. Defining enemies when we divide and disagree.

Longfin 04:16
Let’s be quiet Let’s not hide it Let the silence Fill the space between our fingers Better than any lover Let’s be quiet Let’s not hide it Let the silence do more than I could ever say Hold on Don’t make a sound We’re in this together now The hurt is uniquely you All I can do is love you You’re not a problem to be solved You’re a human full of flaws Beauty in mistakes. Perfection in grace. We don’t have to fight the way we were made. Let’s be quiet Let’s not hide it To defiant To be reliant We’ve got the scars to prove ourselves But we’re afraid of what they tell Your imperfection Gives direction A recollection A self selection We choose how to feel We choose how to heal We know how we feel We know this is real.
